We never thought this day would come, but alas, here we are. Yes, today is March 31, 2021—the death day of everyone's favorite little Italian plumber. Okay, Mario isn't actually dead, per se. The joke started when Nintendo announced that end-of-service for Super Mario Bros. 35 and end-of-sale for a number of Super Mario products would be...executed...on March 31. Since the announcement, there's been a build up of 'Mario is dead' memes. Well, the day has finally come and fans all over Twitter are posting their final jokes.
